٣٩٦٧٥ - قال: (و) (١) بلغني عن الزهري قال: هؤلاء خزاعة وهم من أهلي، قال: فكتب إليهم النبي ﷺ وهم يومئذ نزول بين عرفات ومكة، لم يسلموا حيث ⦗٤٦⦘ كتب إليهم، وقد كانوا حلفاء النبي ﷺ (٢) (٣).
39675 - He said: (and) (1) It reached me from al-Zuhri who said: These are Khuza‘ah and they are from my people. He said: The Prophet ﷺ wrote to them while they were staying between ‘Arafat and Mecca; they had not accepted Islam when ⦗46⦘ he wrote to them, and they had been allies of the Prophet ﷺ (2) (3).
