Hadith 39667
٣٩٦٦٧ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن حجاج عن الحكم عن مقسم عن ابن عباس قال: سبى رجل امرأة يوم خيبر، فحملها خلفه فنازعته قائمَ سيفه، فقتلها فأبصرها رسول اللَّه ﷺ فقال: "من قتل هذه؟ " فأخبروه، فنهى عن قتل النساء (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that on the day of Khaybar, a man captured a woman and made her ride behind him. The woman argued with the man over the hilt of his sword, so the man killed the woman. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw the woman (who had been killed) and said: Who has killed this woman? The people informed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the killing of women.
