٣٩٦٥٧ - حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن محمد بن (زيد) (١) قال: حدثني عمير مولى آبي اللحم قال: شهدت (خيبر) (٢) وأنا عبد مملوك، فلما فتحوها أعطاني رسول اللَّه ﷺ سيفا فقال: "تقلد هذا"، وأعطاني من (خُرْثيّ) (٣) المتاع، ولم ⦗٢٠⦘ يضرب لي بسهم (٤).
Hazrat Umair, the freedman of Abu Al-Lahm, narrates that I was present at the battle of Khaybar and I was a slave. When the Companions conquered Khaybar, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted me a sword and said: Hang this sword. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me a gift from the spoils, but did not give me my full share.
