Hadith 39635
٣٩٦٣٥ - (حدثنا أبو بكر قال) (١): حدثنا عبد الرحيم بن سليمان عن محمد بن إسحاق (عن نافع) (٢) عن ابن عمر قال: بعثنا رسول اللَّه ﷺ في سرية إلى نجد قال: فأصبنا نعما كثيرة، قال: (فنفلنا) (٣) صاحبُنا الذي كان علينا بعيرًا بعيرًا، ثم قدمنا على رسول اللَّه ﷺ بما أصبنا، فكانت (سهماننا) (٤) بعد الخمس (اثني عشر بعيرًا (٥)، اثني عشر بعيرًا، فكان لكل رجل منا ثلاثة عشر بعيرًا، بالبعير الذي (نفلنا) (٦) صاحبنا، فما (عاب) (٧) رسول اللَّه ﷺ على صاحبنا ما حاسبنا (به) (٨) ⦗٧⦘ في سهماننا (٩).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent us on an expedition towards Najd. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: We obtained a great many things as spoils there. The narrator says: Then our companion, who was our leader, gave each of us a camel as a gift. Then we brought those items to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). After the deduction of the khums (one-fifth), the share we received was twelve camels each. Thus, each one of us received, along with the camel our companion had given us as a gift, thirteen camels. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not say anything to our companion regarding the accounting of that camel.
