It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Safar that on the day of Badr, the announcer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called out that whoever has detained Umm Hakim bint Hizam should set her free, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has granted her protection. An Ansari man had detained her and had tied her hands behind her back with her hair. So when he heard the announcer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he set her free.
