٣٩٤٠٣ - قال إسماعيل: فحدثني سعيد بن أبي بردة قالت يومئذ لعمر: ما هو كذلك كنا (مطرودين) (١) بأرض البعداء البغضاء وأنتم عند رسول اللَّه ﷺ يعظ جاهلكم ويطعم جائعكم (٢).
39403 - Isma'il said: Sa'id ibn Abi Burda narrated to me that she said to Umar on that day: "It was not like that; we were (driven out) in the land of the distant and hateful, while you were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he would admonish your ignorant ones and feed your hungry ones."
