Hadith 39310
٣٩٣١٠ - [حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن هشام (عن) (١) عكرمة عن ابن عباس أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ نزل عليه وهو (ابن) (٢) أربعين سنة فأقام، بمكة ثلاث عشرة، وبالمدينة (عشر سنين) (٣)، وتوفي وهو ابن ثلاث وستين] (٤) (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Qur'an was revealed to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was forty years old. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed in Makkah for thirteen years and in Madinah for ten years, and when he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, his blessed age was sixty-three years.
