Hadith 39305
٣٩٣٠٥ - حدثنا (معاوية بن هشام) (١) قال: حدثنا شيبان عن يحيى عن أبي سلمة عن عائشة وابن عباس أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ لبث بمكة عشر سنين، ينزل عليه ⦗٣٥٤⦘ الفرقان، وبالمدينة عشرا (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed in Makkah for ten years; the Qur'an was being revealed to him, and he stayed in Madinah for ten years.
