Hadith 39303
٣٩٣٠٣ - (حدثنا أبو بكر قال) (١): حدثنا حسين بن علي عن زائدة عن هشام (عن عكرمة) (٢) عن ابن عباس قال: أُنزل على النبي ﷺ (٣) وهو ابن أربعين سنة، ثم مكث (بمكة) (٤) ثلاث (عشرة) (٥) سنة (وكان) (٦) بالمدينة (ابن) (٧) (عشر) (٨)، فقبض وهو ابن ثلاث وستين (٩).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that revelation descended upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was forty years old. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) stayed in Makkah for thirteen years and in Madinah for ten years. Then when he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, his blessed age was sixty-three years.
