Hadith 39036
٣٩٠٣٦ - حدثنا يزيد عن حميد عن أنس قال: أهدى بعض أزواج النبي ﷺ إلى النبي ﷺ قصعة فيها ثريد وهو في بيت بعض أزواجه، فضربت القصعة، فوقعت فانكسرت، فجعل النبي ﷺ يأخذ الثريد فيرده إلى القصعة بيده ويقول: "كلوا، غارت أمكم"، ثم انتظر حتى جاءت قصعة صحيحة، فأخذها فأعطاها صاحبة القصعة المكسورة (١).
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that one of the noble wives of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a bowl of tharid as a gift to him. At that time, he (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the house of another wife. So that wife struck the bowl, causing it to fall and break. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) began gathering the tharid in the bowl with his own hand and said: "Eat! Your mother has been overcome." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) waited until a sound bowl arrived, and he took it and gave it to the owner of the broken bowl.
