Hazrat Sahl bin Sa’d narrates that a man peeped into one of the rooms of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a comb with which he was scratching his head. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I had known that you were looking, I would have struck this into your eye. Seeking permission is only for the sake of looking.
