Hadith 38881
٣٨٨٨١ - حدثنا وكيع عن ابن أبي ليلى عن (عيسى عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى عن) (١) (جده أبي ليلى) (٢) قال: كنا عند النبي ﷺ جلوسا، فجاء (الحسين) (٣) بن علي يحبو حتى (جلس) (٤) على صدره (فبال عليه) (٥)، قال: فابتدرناه لنأخذه، فقال النبي ﷺ: "ابني ابني"، ثم دعا بماء فصبه عليه (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Laila that we were sitting with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when Hazrat Husain bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came crawling until he sat on the blessed chest of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and urinated on him. The narrator says, we quickly moved forward to catch Hazrat Husain, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My son! My son! Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called for water and poured it over (the affected area). And (Imam) Abu Hanifa's opinion has been mentioned that: it should be washed.
