Hadith 38852
٣٨٨٥٢ - حدثنا يونس عن داود بن أبي الفرات عن محمد بن زيد عن أبي شريح عن أبي مسلم مولى زيد بن صوحان قال: كنت مع سلمان فرأى رجلا ينزع خفيه للوضوء فقال له سلمان: امسح على خفيك وعلى خمارك، وامسح بناصيتك، فإني رأيت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يمسح على الخفين والخمار (١).
The freed slave of Zaid bin Suhan, Hazrat Abi Muslim, narrates that I was with Hazrat Salman when he saw a man who was taking off his leather socks to perform ablution. Hazrat Salman said to this man: Wipe over your leather socks, and wipe over your head covering (such as a turban), and wipe over your forehead, because I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wiping over his leather socks and his head covering (such as a turban).
