Hadith 38843
٣٨٨٤٣ - حدثنا معلى بن منصور عن أبي أويس عن عبد اللَّه بن أبي بكر عن عباد ابن تميم عن عمه وكان بدريًا قال: قال النبي ﷺ: "إذا زنت الأمة فاجلدوها، ثم إن زنت فاجلدوها، ثم أن زنت فاجلدوها ثم بيعوها، ولو (بضفير) (١) " (٢).
Hazrat ‘Ubad bin Tamim narrates from his uncle, who was a participant in Badr, that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a slave-girl commits adultery, flog her; then if she commits adultery again, flog her; then if she commits adultery again, flog her; then sell her, even if it is in exchange for a rope. And (Imam) Abu Hanifa’s opinion has been mentioned that: The owner of the slave-girl will not flog the slave-girl.
