Hadith 38841
٣٨٨٤١ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن أيوب بن موسى عن سعيد عن أبي هريرة قال: قال النبي ﷺ: "إذا زنت أمة (أحدكم) (١) فليجلدها ولا يثرب عليها، فإن عادت (فليجلدها، فإن عادت) (٢) فليبعها (٣) ولو (بضفير) (٤) من شعر" (٥).
Hazrat Abu Huraira narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a slave-girl belonging to any of you commits adultery, the man (the owner) should flog her, but should not reproach her for the sin. Then if the slave-girl commits this sin again, the man should flog her again. Then if she commits this sin yet again, the owner should sell her, even if it is in exchange for a rope of hair.
