Hadith 38806
٣٨٨٠٦ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن الأعمش عن عبد اللَّه بن عبد اللَّه عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى عن البراء بن (مالك) (١) قال: جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ (فقال) (٢): أصلي في مرابض الغنم؟ قال: "نعم" قال: أتوضأ من لحومها؟ قال: "لا" قال: فأصلي في مبارك الإبل؟ قال: "لا" قال: فأتوضأ من لحومها؟ قال: "نعم" (٣).
Hazrat Bara bin Azib narrates that a man came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked: "Can I pray in a sheepfold?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, you can pray." He asked again: "Can I perform ablution with the meat of goats?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No." The man then asked: "Can I pray in a camel pen?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No!" The questioner asked: "Can I perform ablution with the meat of camels?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes, do so."
