Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

The Prophet Muhammad said that the first instance of zihar in Islam was done with Khawilah. After the zihar, she came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and presented the whole incident. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, called her husband. And these verses of the Holy Qur'an were revealed { قَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّہُ قَوْلَ الَّتِی تُجَادِلُک فِی زَوْجِہَا }
