Hadith 38716
٣٨٧١٦ - حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا الدستوائي عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن عامر العقيلي عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "عرض علي أول ثلاثة من أمتي ⦗١٧٩⦘ يدخلون الجنة، وأول ثلاثة يدخلون النار، فأما أول ثلاثة يدخلون الجنة، فالشهيد وعبد مملوك لم يشغله رق الدنيا عن طاعة ربه، وفقير متعفف ذو عيال، وأما أول ثلاثة يدخلون النار فأمير مسلط، وذو ثروة من مال لا يؤدي حق اللَّه في ماله، وفقير فخور" (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The first three people of my Ummah who will be presented to me who will enter Paradise, and the three people who will be presented who will enter Hell, were shown to me. Of the three who will enter Paradise, one is a martyr, the second is a slave whose service to his master did not distract him from obedience to his Lord, and the third is a poor man with dependents who does not ask anything from anyone. And of the three who will enter Hell, one is an oppressive ruler, the second is a wealthy person who does not pay Allah’s due from his wealth, and the third is an arrogant poor person.
