Hadith 38680
٣٨٦٨٠ - حدثنا يزيد عن المسعودي عن أبي (عمرو) (١) عن عبيد بن الخشخاش عن أبي (ذر) (٢) قال: دخلت على رسول اللَّه ﷺ وهو في المسجد قلت: أي الأنبياء أول؟ (قال) (٣): "آدم" قال: قلت: وهل كان نبيا؟ قال: "نعم، نبي (مكلم) (٤) " (٥).
Hazrat Abu Dharr narrates that I presented myself in the service of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was sitting in the mosque. I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Who was the first prophet?" He replied, "Hazrat Adam." I asked, "Was he a prophet?" He replied, "Yes, he was a prophet to whom words were spoken."
