٣٨٦٧٢ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن جرير بن حازم أبي النضر: سأل رجل محمد بن سيرين: ما تقول في مجالسة هؤلاء القصاص؟ قال: لا آمرك به ولا أنهاك عنه، القصص أمر محدث، (أحدثه) (١) هذا (الخلق) (٢) من الخوارج.
Hazrat Jarir bin Hazim says that a man asked Hazrat Muhammad bin Sirin, "What do you say about the company of storytellers?" He replied, "I neither command you to do it nor forbid you from it. Storytelling is a new thing which the Khawarij have started."
