Hadith 38653
٣٨٦٥٣ - حدثنا عفان وابن أبي بكير قالا: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن علي ابن زيد عن أنس بن مالك أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: "أول من يكسى حلة من النار إبليس، فيضعها على حاجبه ويسحبها من خلفه وهو يقول: يا ثبوره، وذريته خلفه وهم يقولون: يا ثبورهم، حتى يقف على النار فيقول: يا ثبوراه، ويقولون، يا ثبورهم، فيقول: ﴿لَا تَدْعُوا الْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَاحِدًا وَادْعُوا ثُبُورًا كَثِيرًا﴾ [الفرقان: ١٤] " (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, Iblis will be the first to be dressed in a garment of fire. He will place it on his side and try to remove it from behind himself, and he will call out for his death. His offspring will be behind him, and they too will be calling out for their death. Then he will stand by Hell and call out for his death, and the followers of Satan will also call out for their death. Upon this, Allah Almighty will say: Today, do not call for one death, but call for many deaths, yet death will not come.
