٣٨٦١٦ - حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الأسدي حدثنا (الصعق) (١) بن (حزن) (٢) عن أبي (جمرة) (٣) الضبعي عن ابن عباس قال: أول العرب هلاكا قريش وربيعة، ⦗١٥٤⦘ (قالوا) (٤): وكيف؟ قال: أما قريش (فيهلكها) (٥) الملك، وأما ربيعة فتهلكها الحمية (٦).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says that the first to be destroyed among the Arabs were the Quraysh and Rabi'ah. Quraysh were destroyed by kingship, and Rabi'ah were destroyed by pride.
