٣٨٥٦٩ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن حميد عن الحسن قال: إن أول من (أبدا) (١) الهبة: عثمان بن عفان، وأول من سأل الطالب (البينة) (٢) أن ⦗١٤٢⦘ غريمه مات ودينه عليه: عثمان بن عفان (٣).
Hasan says that the first to initiate the practice of gift (hiba) was Hazrat Uthman bin Affan. The first to require testimony for the creditor after the debtor's death was also Hazrat Uthman bin Affan.
