Hadith 38554
٣٨٥٥٤ - حدثنا عبد الرحيم عن (مجالد) (١) عن عامر قال: أول من بايع تحت الشجرة أبو سنان (٢) وهب الأسدي أتى النبي ﷺ فقال: أبايعك، قال: "علام ⦗١٣٩⦘ تبايعني؟ " قال: أبايعك على ما في نفسك، فبايعه (٣) الناس بعد (٤).
Hazrat Amir narrates that on the occasion of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the first person to pledge allegiance at the blessed hand of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was Hazrat Abu Sinan bin Wahb Asadi. He came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "I wish to pledge allegiance at your hand." The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "On what do you wish to pledge allegiance?" He replied, "On whatever is in your heart, I wish to pledge allegiance to that." The Prophet (peace be upon him) accepted his pledge, and then others pledged allegiance afterwards.
