Hadith 3855
٣٨٥٥ - حدثنا يحيى بن أبي (بكير) (١) قال: (حدثنا) (٢) زهير ((بن محمد) (٣) عن عبد اللَّه) (٤) بن محمد بن عقيل عن سعيد بن المسيب عن أبي سعيد الخدري عن النبي ﷺ سمعه يقول: "خير صفوف الرجال المقدم، وشرها المؤخر، وخير صفوف النساء المؤخر، وشرها المقدم" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The best row for men is the front one and the worst row is the last one. The best row for women is the last one and the worst row is the front one.
