Hadith 38530
٣٨٥٣٠ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن إسماعيل أخبرنا عامر قال: أول من بايع تحت (الشجرة) (١) أبو سنان بن وهب الأسدي فقال له رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "علام تبايع؟ " قال: على ما في نفسك، فبايعه ثم تتابع الناس فبايعوه (٢).
Hazrat Amir narrates that on the occasion of the Pledge of Ridwan, the first person to pledge allegiance under the tree at the blessed hand of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was Hazrat Abu Sinan Wahb al-Asadi. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him, "On what are you pledging allegiance?" He replied, "On that which is in your heart." Thus, he pledged allegiance, and then afterwards, other people also pledged allegiance at the sacred hand of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
