Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Alia narrated from a servant of Hazrat Salman that when the Muslims conquered Madain and went out in search of the enemy, I found a basket. Hazrat Salman asked me if I had any food. I said that I had found a basket. He said, "Bring it to me. If there is wealth in it, we will add it to the spoils of war, and if there is food in it, we will eat it." We opened the basket and found loaves of bread made from white flour, butter, and a knife. The Arabs saw white bread there for the first time.
