Hadith 38522
٣٨٥٢٢ - حدثنا ابن فضيل عن عطاء بن السائب عن الحسن قال: أول مصلوب صلب في الإسلام رجل من بني ليث جعلت له قريش (أواقي) (١) على أن يقتل النبي ﷺ فأتاه جبريل فأخبره، فبعث إليه النبي ﷺ فأمر به فصلب (٢).
Hasan narrates that in Islam, the first person to be crucified was a man from Banu Layth. The Quraysh had given him a lot of wealth so that he would martyr the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Gabriel informed the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about this. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered that this person be crucified.
