Hadith 38506
٣٨٥٠٦ - حدثنا أبو أسامة قال: حدثني (أبو) (١) عمير عن أيوب عن رجل عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس قال: أول من أحدث من نساء العرب جر ⦗١٢٦⦘ (الذيول) (٢) أم إسماعيل قال: لما فرت من سارة (أرخت) (٣) ذيلها (لتعفي) (٤) أثرها، وأول من طاف بين الصفا والمروة أم إسماعيل (٥).
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that among the Arab women, the first to drag her garment was the mother of Ismail. When she departed from Sarah's place, she let her garment trail behind her so that her footprints would be erased. And the first to perform the circumambulation between Safa and Marwah was also the mother of Ismail.
