Hadith 3815
٣٨١٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن [عيينة] (١) عن الزهري عن (ابن) (٢) أكيمة قال: سمعت أبا هريرة يقول: صلى رسول اللَّه ﷺ صلاة (نظن) (٣) أنها الصبح فلما قضاها قال: " (هَلْ) (٤) قَرَأَ مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ؟ " قال رجل: أنا. قال: "إِنّي أَقُولُ مَالِي أُنَازِعُ (٥) الْقُرْآنَ" (٦).
Hazrat Abu Huraira narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the morning prayer. Most likely, it was the Fajr prayer. When he completed the prayer, he said, "Has anyone among you recited (something)?" A man said, "I have recited." The Prophet said, "I was also wondering who was disputing with me in the Qur'an!"
