Hadith 37913
٣٧٩١٣ - حدثنا الثقفي عن أيوب عن أبي قلابة قال: إن اللَّه لما لعن إبليس سأله النظرة، فأنظره إلى يوم الدين، قال: وعزتك لا أخرج من جوف -أو من قلب- ابن آدم ما دام فيه الروح، (قال: وعزتي لا أحجب عنه التوبة ما دام فيه الروح) (١).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Qalabah. He says that when Iblis was declared accursed by Allah Almighty, he asked Allah Almighty for respite. So Allah Almighty granted him respite until the Day of Resurrection. Iblis said: By Your honor! I will remain in the belly or heart of the son of Adam as long as there is soul in him. Allah Almighty said: By My honor! As long as there is soul in him, I will not close the door of repentance for him.
