كلام حذيفة ﵁Sayings of Hudhayfah رضي الله عنه
Hadith 37526
٣٧٥٢٦ - حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن عطاء بن السائب عن أبي عبد الرحمن قال: قام حذيفة بالمدائن فخطب فحمد اللَّه وأثنى عليه ثم قال: ﴿اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ﴾ [القمر: ١] (ألا) (١) إن الساعة قد اقتربت، وإن القمر قد انشق، ألا وإن الدنيا قد آذنت بالفراق، ألا وإن (المضمار) (٢) اليوم، وإن السباق غدا، وإن الغاية النار، وإن السابق من سبق إلى الجنة (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Abdur Rahman that he said Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) was standing in Mada'in. He delivered a sermon, praised Allah Almighty, and then said: { اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَۃُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ } Beware! The Day of Judgment has drawn near and the moon has split. Beware! The world has announced its departure. Beware! Today is the field of striving and tomorrow is the day of reward. And the end is Hell, and the one who prevails is the one who prevails towards Paradise.
