It is narrated from Hazrat Salman that he says: When a servant remembers God in times of prosperity and praises Him in times of hardship, then if any difficulty befalls him and he prays to Allah, the angels say, "This is the familiar voice of a weak servant." Thus, they intercede for him. But if he does not remember God in prosperity and does not praise Him in hardship, then when a difficulty befalls him and he prays to Allah, the angels say, "This is an unfamiliar voice." Thus, they do not intercede for him.
