It is narrated from Hazrat Nu’man bin Humaid that he says: I went with my maternal uncle ‘Abbad to Hazrat Salman. When Hazrat Salman saw them, he shook hands with them. His hair was very long and he was weaving a mat. Hazrat Salman said: This thing is bought for me for one dirham. I weave it and sell it for three dirhams. Then I give one dirham in charity, spend one dirham on this work, and spend one dirham on my needs. And even if Hazrat Umar forbids me from this, I will not stop.
