Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi‘ that Hazrat Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to dislike speaking while reciting (the Qur’an)… or he said… they would not speak about their intended matter until they had finished… or he said… they would not speak until they had finished. But one day, when I was sitting with him with the Mushaf and he was reciting, he reached a verse and said: “Do you know about whom this verse was revealed?”
