Hadith 37296
٣٧٢٩٦ - حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن الأعمش عن أبي الضحى عن مسروق قال: أتي عبد اللَّه بشراب فقال: أعطه علقمة قال: إني صائم ثم قال: (أعط) (١) الأسود، فقال: إني صائم حتى مر (بكلهم) (٢)، ثم أخذه فشربه ثم تلا هذه الآية: ﴿يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ الْقُلُوبُ وَالْأَبْصَارُ﴾ [النور: ٣٧] (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Masruq that he says: A drink was brought to Hazrat Abdullah, so he (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Give this drink to Alqamah." Alqamah said: "I am fasting." Then he (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Give this drink to Aswad." Aswad said: "I am fasting." In this way, the drink was passed by all the people, then he himself took the drink and drank it, then recited this verse: { یَخَافُونَ یَوْمًا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِیہِ الْقُلُوبُ وَالأَبْصَارُ }
