Hadith 37123
٣٧١٢٣ - حدثنا معاوية بن هشام قال: حدثنا سفيان عن بعض المدنيين عن عطاء بن يسار قال: تعرضت (الدنيا) (١) للنبي ﷺ فقال: "إني لست أريدك"، (قالت) (٢): إن لم تردني (فسيردني) (٣) غيرك (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ata bin Yasar that he says: The world was presented before the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), so he (peace be upon him) said: "I do not desire you." The world replied, "If you do not desire me, soon others besides you will desire me."
