Hadith 37116
٣٧١١٦ - حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن المغيرة بن النعمان عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس قال: قام فينا رسول اللَّه ﷺ بموعظة فقال: " (إنكم) (١) محشورون إلى اللَّه حفاة غرلا ﴿كَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِيدُهُ وَعْدًا عَلَيْنَا إِنَّا كنا فَاعِلِينَ﴾ [الأنبياء: ١٠٤]، فأول الخلائق يلقى بثوب إبراهيم خليل الرحمن"، قال: "ثم يؤخذ قوم منكم ذات الشمال فأقول: يا رب أصحابي، فيقال: إنك لا تدري ما أحدثوا بعدك، إنهم لم يزالوا مرتدين على أعقابهم، فأقول كما قال العبد الصالح: ﴿وَكُنْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا﴾ إلى قوله: ﴿الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ﴾ [المائدة: ١١٧، ١١٨] (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us to deliver a sermon and said: "Surely you will be gathered before Allah barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised. { کَمَا بَدَأْنَا أَوَّلَ خَلْقٍ نُعِیدُہُ وَعْدًا عَلَیْنَا إنَّا کُنَّا فَاعِلِینَ } The first among the creation to be clothed will be Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah (peace be upon him).” He (peace be upon him) said: “Then some of you will be seized towards the left side, and I will say: O my Lord! These are my companions. It will be said: You do not know what they innovated after you. They kept turning back on their heels. At this I will say the same thing as the righteous servant … Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him) … said."
