Hadith 37105
٣٧١٠٥ - حدثنا أبو معاوية وابن نمير ووكيع عن الأعمش عن المعرور بن سويد عن أبي ذر قال: انتهيت إلى النبي ﷺ وهو جالس في ظل الكعبة، فلما رآني قال: "هم الأخسرون ورب الكعبة"، فجئت فجلست فلم أتقار (١) أن قمت فقلت: يا رسول اللَّه فداك أبي وأمي من (هم؟) (٢) قال: "هم الأكثرون أموالا إلا من قال بالمال هكذا وهكذا (وهكذا) (٣) من بين يديه ومن خلفه وعن يمينه وعن شماله" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he says: I presented myself in the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace be upon him) was sitting in the shade of the Ka'bah. When he (peace be upon him) saw me, he said: "By the Lord of the Ka'bah! These people are very much at loss." So I came and sat down. I had hardly settled when I stood up and said: May my parents be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Who are these people? He (peace be upon him) said: "These are those who have abundance in wealth, except for the one who gives his wealth like this and like this— in front of him, behind him, to his right, and to his left."
