Hadith 37099
٣٧٠٩٩ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير قال: حدثنا زكريا بن أبي زائدة عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن (سعد) (١) بن زرارة أن ابن كعب بن مالك حدثه عن (أبيه عن) (٢) النبي ﷺ قال: "ما ذئبان جائعان أرسلا في غنم، بافسد لها من حرص المرء (على المال) (٣) والشرف لدينه" (٤).
The son of Ka'b bin Malik, narrating from his father, reports from the Noble Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Two hungry wolves let loose among sheep do not cause as much destruction to the flock as a man's greed for wealth and status does to his religion."
