Hadith 37091
٣٧٠٩١ - حدثنا حسين بن علي وأبو أسامة عن زائدة عن (عبد) (١) الملك بن عمير عن ريعي عن أم سلمة قالت: دخل (٢) علي رسول اللَّه ﷺ وهو ساهم الوجه، فظننت أن (ذاك) (٣) من تغير، فقلت: يا رسول اللَّه أراك ساهم الوجه، أمن علة؟ قال: "لا، ولكن السبعة الدنانير التي أتينا بها أمس نسيتها في خُصْم الفراش (٤)، فبت ولم أقسمها" (٥).
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me while his blessed face was changed. I thought that this (perhaps) was due to some change, so I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon you)! I am seeing your face changed. Is this due to some illness? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No. But the reason is those seven dinars that were brought to us yesterday. I had placed them at the edge of the bed (and) forgot about them. Thus, I spent the night without distributing them."
