كلام لقمان ﵇Sayings of Luqman عليه السلام
Hadith 37017
٣٧٠١٧ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا أبو عوانة قال: حدثنا حبيب بن أبي عمرة عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس قال: (لقد) (١) قال موسى ﵇ (٢): ﴿رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ﴾ [القصص: ٢٤] وهو أكرم خلقه عليه، ولقد كان افتقر إلى شق تمرة، ولقد أصابه الجوع حتى (لزق) (٣) بطنه (بظهره) (٤) (٥).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: Verily, Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) said: "O my Lord, indeed I am in need of whatever good You send down to me." Although, in the sight of Allah Almighty, he was the most honored among His creation. And certainly, he did not even have a small piece of date with him. And due to hunger, his condition had become such that his stomach had stuck to his back.
