كلام لقمان ﵇Sayings of Luqman عليه السلام
Hadith 37015
٣٧٠١٥ - حدثنا معاوية بن هشام (قال) (١): حدثنا سفيان (عن) (٢) أسلم المنقري عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت قال: كان حاجبا يعقوب قد وقعا على عينيه، فكان يرفعهما بخرقة، فقيل له ما بلغ بك هذا؟ (٣) قال: طول الزمان وكثرة الأحزان، ⦗٢٤٨⦘ فأوحى اللَّه إليه يا يعقوب شكوتني؟ قال: (يا) (٤) رب خطيئة أخطأتها فاغفرها.
Hazrat Habib bin Abi Thabit says: The eyebrows of Hazrat Yaqub (peace be upon him) had drooped over his eyes. He used to lift them with a piece of cloth. Once, he was asked: How did this condition happen to you? He replied: Due to old age and the abundance of sorrows. Upon this, Allah the Blessed and Exalted revealed to him: O Yaqub (peace be upon him), have you complained about Me? Hazrat Yaqub (peace be upon him) said: O my Lord! This is a great mistake that has occurred from me. So please forgive me.
