Hadith 36997
٣٦٩٩٧ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا معاوية بن عبد الكريم عن الحسن أن داود النبي ﷺ (١) قال: إلهي، لو أن لكل شعرة مني لسانين يسبحانك الليل والنهار ما ⦗٢٤١⦘ (قضينا) (٢) نعمة من نعمك علي.
It is narrated from Hasan that the Prophet Dawud (peace be upon him) said: My True Lord! If every single hair of mine had two tongues and they were engaged day and night in Your glorification, even then they would not be able to fulfill the due gratitude for even the smallest of Your blessings.
