Hadith 36988
٣٦٩٨٨ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن الأعمش عن مالك بن الحارث عن ابن عباس قال: كان سليمان بن داود (النبي) (١) ﷺ لا يكلم إعظاما له، قال: فلقد فاتته العصر فما أطاق أحد يكلمه (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Due to the awe and majesty of Prophet Sulaiman bin Dawood (peace be upon him), no one would even speak with him. The narrator says: Until (one evening) even the Asr prayer passed by him unknowingly, yet no one had the courage to speak (and inform him).
