Hadith 36894
٣٦٨٩٤ - حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير (قال) (١): حدثنا فضيل بن غزوان عن محمد الراسبي عن بشر بن عاصم قال: كتب عمر بن الخطاب (عهد بشر) (٢) بن عاصم فقال: لا حاجة لي فيه إني سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول: "إن الولاة (يجاء) (٣) بهم يوم القيامة (فيوقفون) (٤) على جسر جهنم، فمن كان مطواعا للَّه تناوله اللَّه بيمينه حتى ينجيه، ومن كان عاصيا للَّه (انحرف) (٥) به الجسر إلى واد من نار يلتهب التهابًا"، قال: فأرسل عمر إلى سلمان وأبي ذر فقال لأبي ذر: أنت سمعت هذا الحديث من رسول اللَّه ﷺ؟ قال: نعم واللَّه، وبعد الوادي واد آخر من نار، قال: وسأل سلمان فلم يخبر بشيء، فقال عمر: من يأخذها بما فيها؟ فقال: أبو ذر: من ⦗٢٠١⦘ سلب اللَّه (أنفه) (٦) وعينيه و (أضرع) (٧) خده إلى الأرض (٨).
Hazrat Muhammad Rasbi narrates that when Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) appointed Hazrat Bishr bin Asim as governor, Hazrat Bishr wrote that he had no need for it. He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say that rulers will be brought on the Day of Judgment and made to stand on the bridge over Hell. Allah will grant salvation to the obedient ruler, and the disobedient one will be thrown into the valley of Hell to burn." Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked Hazrat Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) about this. Hazrat Salman expressed ignorance, and Hazrat Abu Dharr said, "Yes, I know this hadith. And there is another valley in Hell." Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked who would be thrown into it. Hazrat Abu Dharr replied, "The one whose nose and eyes Allah has covered with dust and whose cheeks have been rubbed on the ground."
