Hadith 36859
٣٦٨٥٩ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن يزيد الرقاشي عن أنس بن مالك قال: سمع رسول اللَّه ﷺ يوما دويا فقال: " (با) (١) جبريل من هذا؟ فقال: حجر ألقي في جهنم من سبعين خريفا الآن حين استقر في قعرها" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Holy Prophet ﷺ heard a sound one day and asked, "O Jibreel! What is this sound?" Hazrat Jibreel replied, "Seventy years ago, a stone was thrown into the pit of Hell; now it has reached its depth."
