ما ذكر فيما أعد لأهل النار وشدتهSeverity of the Punishment Prepared by Allah for the Inhabitants of Hell
Hadith 36851
٣٦٨٥١ - حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن عطاء بن السائب عن (عون) (١) بن عبد اللَّه ابن عتبة عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "اختصمت الجنة والنار ⦗١٨٩⦘ فقالت النار: فيَّ (المتكبرون) (٢) وأصحاب الأموال والأشراف، وقالت الجنة: مالي لا يدخلني إلا الضعفاء والمساكين، فقال اللَّه تعالى للجنة: أنت رحمتي أدخلك من شئتُ، وقال للنار: أنت عذابي أعذب بك من شئت، وكلاكما سأملأ" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Paradise and Hell argued with each other. Hell said, "In me are the arrogant, the wealthy, and the honorable people." Paradise said, "Only the weak and the poor will enter me." Allah Almighty said to Paradise: "You are the place of My mercy; I will admit into you whomever I wish." And He said to Hell: "You are the place of My punishment; I will punish with you whomever I wish, and I will fill both of you."
