Hadith 36659
٣٦٦٥٩ - حدثنا معاوية بن هشام قال: حدثنا علي بن صالح عن (عمر) (١) بن ربيعة عن الحسن عن ابن عمر قال: سئل رسول اللَّه ﷺ (عن الجنة) (٢) كيف هي؟ قال: "من يدخل الجنة يحيا لا يموت، وينعم لا يبأس، ولا تبلى ثيابه، ولا يبلى شبابه"، قيل: يا رسول اللَّه كيف بناؤها؟ قال: "لبنة من فضة، ولبنة من ذهب، ملاطها مسك، وحصباؤها اللولؤ والياقوت، وترابها الزعفران" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about Paradise, what is it like? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever enters Paradise will live forever, he will not die; the blessings he receives will never end; his clothes will not wear out, nor will his youth fade (become old). He (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: What is its construction like? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Its bricks are of gold and silver, its mortar is musk, its branches are pearls and jewels, and its soil is saffron.
