٣٦٥٨٦ - وقال الحسن: لما توفي عتبة بن مسعود وجد عليه ابن مسعود، فلما كلم في ذلك قال: أما واللَّه إذا قضى ما قضى ما أحب أني دعوته فأجابني (١).
36586 - Al-Hasan said: When Utbah ibn Mas'ud died, Ibn Mas'ud grieved over him, and when he was spoken to about that, he said: By Allah, when Allah decrees what He decrees, I would not like that I called him and he responded to me (1).
